1. Coordination of investment projects and international acquisitions
For investment projects and/or the international acquisition of corporations (via asset deals or share deals), we also offer personal support in the country in which the project/business is located. We also represent our client's interests and provide communication and coordination between investors and local consultants. We stay with the transaction until its launch. The reason for staying with the investment project is to provide direct control of the situation and an understanding of the legal, tax, accounting and administrative requirements of the country in which the investment is being made in order to guarantee the project's success. The legal and commercial consultancy services for the project will be in German, Spanish or English and are aimed at coordinating and helping the local consultants and our client understand each other. With a wealth of experience in international commercial relations and fluency in Spanish, German and English, the personal service provided by Astrid Dorfmeister includes the following services: Travelling to the country in which the investment is being made if necessary and providing on-site consultancy services Coordinating local consultants: lawyers, accountants, auditors and managers, etc.; attending all the meetings that are necessary to keep up-to-date with the negotiations and report back to the client on any requirements or difficulties Support throughout the due diligence process before the acquisition Obtaining all the documentation and information necessary to ensure that the transaction and the contingency plan are as transparent as possible Detailed study of the situation in labour and trade union matters Review of present policies, permits and licences and, if necessary, support and monitoring until they are awarded by the local authorities Communication between the parties to avoid misunderstandings and the consequent conflicts Risk prevention Support and coordination for accounting, computers and insurance policies, etc. Support for the negotiations, including simultaneous translation during the actual negotiation process Support for the new managers and provision of the information they need Follow-up until the company is launched
