Astrid Dorfmeister

Born in Switzerland in 1964 to an Austrian father and a Spanish mother, she grew up in a multicultural environment that was to mark her life and professional career.

She speaks Spanish, German, English and French.

In 1990, she graduated in Law from Madrid's Universidad Complutense and went on to further her studies at the University of Hannover (Germany), where she obtained a doctorate in Law.

She started her professional career as a lawyer at the firm of Dr Löber, Von Schiller & Partner in Frankfurt (Germany). She then spent five years as the Secretary General of the Official Chamber of Commerce of Spain in Germany. Her functions included helping Spanish entrepreneurs to set up on the German market and helping German entrepreneurs with their investment projects in Spain.

She continued her professional career as the director of the Frühbeck firm in Barcelona, where she worked in the areas of mercantile law, international private law, property law and civil law. She dealt with many German, Austrian and Swiss corporate investment projects on Spanish and Latin American markets.

For many years now, she has taken an active part in international lawyer networks and collaborated closely with her international colleagues.

In 2010, she created her own consultancy firm, which focuses specifically on providing its clients with a highly professional and personalised service. Where she focus on the aforementioned areas of mercantile law, international private law and civil and property law.

One very special service that characterises the personalised style of the new firm is its all-round service for German-speaking companies with investment projects in Spain or Hispano-American countries.
